project Description
Citrus Belmont, located at the base of Nandi Hills, tasked The Sports Habitat with the construction of an all-weather tennis court, an outdoor giant chess area, and a cricket pitch. The primary objective was to create durable, weather-resistant facilities that would cater to the needs of the residents and guests, ensuring consistent use in varying weather conditions. The tennis court was designed with a 5-layer acrylic flooring system, incorporating a silica-rubber mix to support medium-paced games, along with an efficient drainage system for swift water removal. The outdoor chess area featured fiber-reinforced plastic pieces with metal inserts, providing resilience against gusty winds. The project successfully combined functionality with aesthetics, creating a versatile recreational space at Citrus Belmont.

CHALLENGES

We designed a multi-functional sports area that included durable and weather-resistant materials, ensuring long-lasting use. The tennis court was constructed with advanced materials, and a unique drainage system was integrated to manage rainwater efficiently.
