The Landmark Club, situated in the bustling heart of RT Nagar, North Bengaluru, required a complete overhaul of its existing playing facility to create a world-class football turf. The objective was to remodel and design a 6A-side FIFA-certified turf while optimizing revenue operations post-handover.

CHALLENGES
During the testing and planning stages, several challenges were identified, including the lack of an adequate water drainage system, undulations in the sub-base, sharp edges at the culvert posing safety risks, and damaged fencing and wiring impacting the facility’s functionality.
- Water Drainage Issues: Lack of proper water drainage leading to potential waterlogging.
- Sub-base Leveling and Repairs: Uneven sub-base affecting turf installation stability.
- Sharp Edges at Culvert: Sharp culvert edges posing safety hazards.
- Damaged Fencing and Wiring: Leading to reduced functionality and security.
Solution
To address these issues, the project incorporated solutions such as creating grooves for quick water drainage, leveling and repairing the sub-base to meet FIFA standards, and rectifying sharp edges to ensure player safety. The damaged fencing and wiring were replaced, enhancing the infrastructure’s security and durability.
